Hack Fest
23-25 March 2018 | IIT (ISM) Dhanbad
Learn. Improvise. Adapt.

About

HackFest is IIT(ISM) Dhanbad's 36-hour annual hackathon organised by the Computer Science and Engineering Society (CSES) and ACM Student Chapter, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. It aims for student programmers from different colleges to collaborate to come up with innovative solutions to problems both old and new, and see their ideas come to life.

HackFest provides a platform for students to develop their skills and build prototypes of products in teams and share them with the tech community. Participants get to spend a weekend having fun, meeting new people, and preparing themselves for technical careers, all the while doing what they love. They stand to gain the vital ability of performing well in a time crunch, along with technical expertise and new connections, both with other student developers and in the tech industry.

The students must work in the time frame specified to create software and hardware applications, either to implement their own ideas or to solve problem statements – issues that the tech community would like to see solved through information technology. Participants thus also get a chance to score an internship at major tech companies. Along with cool cash prizes for the winners and goodies, snacks and meals will also be provided for all. So, get ready to code your team to victory! Come join us in this celebration of the spirit of programming. Register for Hackfest right now.
